Cemea promotes the respect of the particularities and specificities of people, believing in the desire of everyone to improve and trying to create the conditions whereby each individual will have the chance. The Cemea manages in Rome various playgrounds aimed to support the growth of children and young people through non-formal education. The House of Arts and the Game (title of this project and of the playgrounds) is a space available to children and kids, where they can express themselves directly participating in both the design and to the definition of the activities that take place there. Is an House of Arts because it is through painting, manipulation, the approach to simple techniques for everyone, children and young people are offered the chance to express themselves in their own way, explore their imagination and designed with the help of educators how to create and build what they imagined . Is an House of Game because it is a place where search and recovery, in a process of intergenerational and intercultural exchange, property play also traditional games, using everyday materials to build toys and games celebrating the creativity and resources of children. Especially a House, because it is a place that welcomes, where children are followed in a path of personal growth that takes into account the needs and specificities of each one, talking with family and with schools.
