First Impressions of a Volunteer

My name is Douglas Fender from Scotland.
Three and a half months ago i arrived in Sofia, Bulgaria to begin my volunteer work for the BYF (Balkan Youth Festival)
I made this small documentary to let people know about my first impression of being a volunteer.
Hope you enjoy the movie, it was fun to make...and i hope it inspires some people to join the EVS in the future.

yes, that's true Fender :) Still it depends on your project... because some might also give you as much work as back at home... but well, that's another thing. In general you are very right.

i get you kathi...but this is a different free time, its not like the average human beings free time after work or college...this is free time in life, even during the times your supposed to be working, giving you he change to do anything you want...you wouldent be able to do that back home because you would be spending your free time relaxing from all the work you have been doing throughout the week

very nice video. you should just change the frase "volunteers have lots of freetime"- that's quite general because I wish I could say that about myself :D
