Reason, season, lifetime

People come into our life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When someone is in our life for a reason, it is usually to meet a need we have expressed.
They come to assist us through a difficulty, to aid us physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem godsend and they are. They are there for a reason we need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing, on our part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring this relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die, sometimes they walk away. Some times, they act up and will force you to take your stand, to be strong in who and what you are. What we have to realize is, that they came for a reason, which is now fulfilled, it is time to move on.
Some people come in our life for a season, because it is time to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of joy and they might teach you something you have never done. They are there to make us happy… but only for a season.
Lifetime relationships teach you lifetime lessons. We must build upon them in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Our task then is, to accept the lesson, love the person and put all you have learned before into action.
