My letter about ''My Special Person'' to my best friend.
I couldn't know that one question can change my life.
Dear Ece,
I was so busy. I have just found time to read your letter. I was in Targu Jiu, Romenia because of the project that i told you about.
The name of the project was ''Career in Art''. Also Turkey, Poland, Belgium, Slovenia, Slovakia and Romania were the countries of this project.
We were the group of Turkey by the leadership of Serkan teacher. I cant wait to share my experiences with you. Our travel started with the first lights of the day in Istanbul Atatürk Airport.
Then we landed in Bucarest. We joined in a short city tour by the train. Train trip lasted in 5 hours so we were very tired and we went to our rooms.
The other day, i was waiting excitingly to meet with the other students. After breakfast, we tried to know each other. In the evening, we went to a shopping centre. We were tired and so hungry.
The place where we arrived was in city centre. We decided to walk together. I was at the back of the group with Serkan teacher. And Belgium's teacher was in front of us.
I asked Serkan teacher ''What is Belgium's teacher's branch?'' in Turkish because i was very shy to ask Belgium's teacher. He smiled and said ''I think you shouldn't ask me, you should ask him'' then i said ''Can I ask a question? what is your branch?''
This question was the beginning of an interesting conversation. He answered me ''Art History'' and it made me excited. You know how i love art. You can remember that i worked so hard to participate for this project. Can you believe that?
I chose the person to talk about art. He listened my each question by attention and made very long speeches by his lovely accent that makes him sympathetic
His chat was so absorbing that his 1-hour long answer about his favourite film was like 10-minute long. When i asked him about his general life, he talked about how nice to learn and teach his students. He explained this with memories about his students.I was rarely talking about my activities about art and sport, also my achievements about education abroad. When i heard what he was doing in his free time, my motto started to change. He was so clever and open-minded. He was doing organic agriculture and planting. He knows how to live the moments. He loves spending time with his family. He pays attention to his students and each person. When we were talking about philosophy, we arrived the restaurant where we would eat. I was sad for ending of our conversation but i was starving and couldn't wait to eat. I thanked him for this conversation and i went to my friends. Our conversation ended but i was still making new comments on my mind. He gave me a paper that has writings about film names that he advised me to watch. I didnt expect that so i thanked him with a big smile. Last day, we all were sad about the day that we have to go back our countries. I came closer to him and asked about if he has any social media account. I learned that he has just an e-mail account and i noted it down. He told me that i should send him an e-mail when i watch the films. I accepted that offer gratefully. When our plane flew to Istanbul, we had perfect memories with souvenirs which we bought for our families and friends. As you guess, projects and going abroad gives people lots of things but actually i didnt expect so much like that. I couldnt imagine my perspective can change completely like that. I am so happy for this experience. I am impatient for watching these films and sending e-mail to him. I hope you will have perfect experience and memories like mine.
Love you,
Zeynep
