the end of the story... Something that put me in difficult situations was the emotional breakdowns, lack of deep privacy, missing home, friends and family. From time to time it felt a bit isolated. But this feeling got soon chased away as the rats were appearing and the cats that wouldn't eat the rats. As an overall comparison, the shortages are shaded by the benefits. I've got to spend time doing what I love to do, in my free time, like traveling, discovering other cultures and landscapes. As the curtain falls, I will finish by saying that the best way to continue improving oneself is to never be afraid of change, calculated risk and qualitative learning process that takes time. This E.V.S. program gave me something to think about. Going back home... I've taken with me some new skills I gained in the project and the experience of a whole year of living in the community of Essertfallon. Sincerely, a grateful volunteer, Agnes.
