"This situation also confirms that people still need people." 100%! we are in this together, and all i hope is for this time to pass quickly so we can return to "normal", but than, is "normal" ever going to happen? i made the decision to stay as well, and after a week of panicking and sleepless nights, i am hopeful again even though i can not complete block out the huge impact the situation is having on us worldwide- socially, emotionally, mentally, financially and of course on our health... does the covid19 situation affect you at the moment during your project? are there other volunteers in your project too? wherever you are, stay safe and glad, you became a blogger )

Thank you for reply and supporting! Two weeks ago I wanted to get psychological assistance, but now I’m a psychologist for my friends in Russia, because everything is just beginning there. All volunteers from my preject stayed here and I‘m glad for it. However everything is still difficult! But we just need to try not to get involved in this situation too deep and think about our mental health! Take care of yourself!

I really agree with what you wrote, especially with the first sentence. This is the first time all my plans have failed in one moment but as you said leaving the project is not the good option and we can still try to help each other, even if we can't do it in person. At beginning I've also thought to leave the project. I was in Italy till the 1st of March. When I came in Hungary I was full of ideas about what to do, where to go but in one moment the only thing I could do was to go to the supermarket and make a lot of online things. It was ok for about two months, because the situation of my friends in Italy was even worse and I've tried to stay positive for all of them. I've felt like it wasn't fair to be negative in a moment that was really difficult for everyone. Now that things are going back to normal, I'm trying to do my best for meeting new people and kind of creating that bubble that being abroad should mean for all of us.
