Everyone of us had some traditions at the end of the year because of the New Year feast, but some we acquire being adults. So how New Year is celebrated around the world?

On the 8th of 2021 around 1000 people demonstrated under the motto "Without us, the world stands still" in the city center of Bonn. In such a way, International Women's Day draws attention to women's rights and gender equality around the world.

Living in the 21st century, you can sometimes feel like magic has disappeared, but there are still moments when people celebrate something bigger than themselves. Sometimes it’s a celebration of family and friends, and sometimes it’s something as simple as the longest day in the year!

International Women’s Day is celebrated in different ways around the world, but I did not quite know the extent of these national particularities until I had the opportunity to spend it in Spain. The official page of UN says the following about this day: “International Women’s Day is a time to reflect on progress made, to call for change and to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women who have played an extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities.”
