Last week I had a dream. In there, me and 2 other volunteers took a bus to the nearest station and asked for tickets to the next destination somewhere. It did not matter where the bus was heading to, it just matters the urge and the need to go out, to leave off , to travel.. Dream came true. There was no bus, but a lot of hitchhiking, a boat and an island.

Schrebergartens and Kleingartens are spots of green all around the city, where people grow vegetables, fruit and flowers, and where they can relax and escape the chaos of the city

As the days pass it revolves around my head as a morning and night ritual: Yes, I am in the paradise.
Here I tell you what it makes this place a beautiful pearl in the center part of Greece.

Riding a bicycle is an integral part of my free time activities. In this article, I reflect on the peculiarities of biking in Germany and explain why it is important for me to have a bike during my project.

Ein kleiner Einblick in meinen Sommer in Portland, Oregon.

“En, hoe was het daar in Finland?” Een vraag die ik nu, maanden na terugkomst, nog altijd moet beantwoorden. “Koud.” is dan mijn luie antwoord. Daarmee lieg ik niet, al dekt het niet bepaald de lading. Om het met een cliché te omschrijven: Wat ik in die vijf maanden heb beleefd, is niet in woorden te omschrijven. Maar ik doe hieronder volgens mij een verdienstelijke poging.

“So, how was Finland?” A question that I now, months after return, still have to answer. “Cold.” is normally my lazy answer. I’m not lying with that, but it doesn’t quite cover the bill completely. To express it in clichés: What I have experienced in those five months, is impossible to put into words. But down bellow, I’ll give it a meritorious try.

The world is amazing, and incredibly beautiful... It's just waiting for you to come, don't be afraid to take a step, because when you do, it will make your life more meaningful. This article is for those who are afraid to travel around the world alone, this is to tell them how beautiful it is to do so at least once. All you have to do is to see the signs and if you don't find one then make it.

Finland wordt in de wereld gezien als ‘een van de betere landen’ om in te wonen, zachtaardig uitgedrukt. Dat zou kunnen, dat weet ik niet. Ik ben hier namelijk een Erasmusstudent. En jongens, wat is het fijn om Erasmusstudent te zijn in Finland.

Finland is globally seen as ‘one of the better countries’ to live in, put in a minimalistic way. That could be right, I don’t know. That’s because namely, I am an Erasmus student. And oh boy, it is so nice to be an Erasmus student in Finland.
