So now you are able to speak Norwegian on the tourist level, but be careful: I am learning Nynorsk, the not so known language from the west coast. Most people speak Bokmål, like in Oslo. But in my opinion it is ridiculous to talk of two different languages, because they are almost the same. I can read and write both, just the pronunciation is slightly different and therefor sometimes not too easy to understand. But it sounds different in every part of Norway anyway :D
So that’s it for today, I hope you enjoyed the little insight in what I am occupied with besides my usual tasks in the community of Eid. Good luck practicing Norwegian!
Ha det bra!
PS: Don’t talk of Bokmål and Nynorsk as one Norwegian language in front of Norwegians – you don’t want to put this up for discussion, trust me ;)
