Die Kurve - The curve

..and when "Heimweh" comes, what do I do?

They say it when you leave, they say it when you arrive, they say it during the trainings: "someday, along the way, home sickness is coming". And so it is.
I lived it, a month ago, just in the middle of my EVS.
My tutor had already told me, I already knew, the lower point of the curve would arrive, but when it arrived, I didn't know how to face it.
It's awful, you feel alone, you feel bad, bad in a way you haven't never felt before.
Zum Glück, it lasts just few days, then the worst has gone.
But, what can you do in these few days?
1- Go out
Don't stay at home. Try to find something to do, anything could distract you from your problems.

2- Speak with someone
Hiding your feelings won't help you to solve the question.

3- Eat sweeties
Chocolate, sometimes, is the best solution!

4- Ponder
Try to think that you are just in the place where you wanted to be.
You're learning, you're growing, and panic is a part of this process.

Na, wie geht es jetzt? :)
