On-arrival / Mid-term training in Wustrow
In the middle of nowhere, but with such nice people!
Last month I was in Wustrow, a small village between Hamburg and Berlin, for my EVS training.
On-arrival or Mid-term? Actually, both of them.
It was my first training, but I had it just in the middle of my experience.
Not too bad, because, despite my initial skepticism ("What am I going to do in a "2.500 inhabitants place"?!), I enjoyed it so much!
During the nine days we made two big excursions.
We went to Lüneburg, a very nice city in the north of Germany, and to Dannenberg by canoe!
I learned a lot about the European Voluntary Service, and I liked to do presentations (totally in german) about my project and my life in Italy.
I will never forget our last night there: we went to the only kneipe in Wustrow, by bike, at midnight, in the dark!
Even in the middle of nowhere, you can enjoy yourself if you find the right people :)
