In the middle of summer I came to Bulgaria. The leaves were so green and the river's flow was so fast.
Istead of sitting 6 hours in the office, I decided to spend my working hours in the riverside. I was listening to the sound of the water, looking at the people passing by, feeling excited about my new step in life. I was the second person recently arrived to the project.
But I love our office in any way. It is a special place: the walls are colored into different colors, a lot of plants in every corner, shelves barely holding the amount of books on it. You can easily see different souvenirs from all over the world (starting from Nepal mountains and finishing somewhere in the borders of New Mexico). Colored walls are full of drawings from the children we are working with. By now, here are also New Year's trees spreaded all over the floor with an Advanced Calendar schedule nearby.
Every volunteer made a contribution to this place: here is a world map drawn by Germans, sticker portrait by French, drawing of Italian made by children, wine from Georgian and etc.
The river I was speaking about in the beginning has its own history. So many balls and people were falling into it. So many wispers were told near it. So many thoughts were considered and so many ideas were planned.
Now, in the middle of January, branches of trees became heavy because of the snow. The people are still passing by, the children are making snowmen and I am still going out from the office and listen to the sound of the river.
