It is said that the teenage years are really difficult to forget. Adolescence involve people from 13 years old till 19, more or less. It is commonly said that it is a very complicated age, in which hormones are reaching its high moments and teens starts their own way to adulthood.
First of all, I believe most teenagers have little independence. They are forced to do what they are told to do in most of the occassions by their parents and teachers. For instance, if they are allowed to go out with friends at weekend or they must attend a family reunion. In addition, it has to be said that they don’t have that much money. They have to stick to their budget what sometimes they don’t agree with.
Secondly, I believe youngsters may not have the responsabilities adults have , nonetheless thay have other worries, for instance the exams at their schools. Teenagers have a lot of pressure for exams, which can determine the future of their life or trying to get their position among their friends and peers, through socializing.
All in all, I must admit teenagers have a lot of fun, however it seems to me that the best years of your life come when you’re a bit older. It is true that the teenage years are the most determinants ones for building you personality and all the fears and worries you would have to face in your life, but it is in my opinion that the university years are the best of your life, with the freedom to do what you like and the opoortunity to life exoeriences such an erasmus or a volunteer year, which personally has changed my life and made me grow exponentialy as a person.
Some people should think that the childhood, is the best moment in our life due to the fact we live without responsabilities. Others, maybe, that it is when you’re retired, cause you can rest from work and enjoy the family and friends. Well, according to an study, the best years of our life should be between 30 and 34.
The study suggest that our perception of hapyness, evolves with time and that, around our 20s the changes in our life improve our wellness till we reach our manimun point.
Personally I think that we should take advantage of each part of our life. We should live each day as it as it is the last one of our life and to get the best of ourselves. We are never going to be as young as we are today, so let enjoy the moment we are living now rather than wasting time thinking about what comes next, cause it is going to come anyway.
