This is not a text about my EVS in Germany, but a text about how it feels when a foreign country becomes to you familiar and your own country becomes foreign.

Was bedeutet es eigentlich, fremd zu sein? Sprechen wir über Gefühle oder einen Aufenthaltsstatus? Kann Heimat auch fremd werden? Was sind Grenzen und wer legt sie für uns fest?

Home means more than just a house where you live, more than just the people who you love. It is a feeling.

Ein verzweifelter Versuch sich in Rom in Mitten des Massentourismus fremd zu fuehlen. Doch Apple hat die Rechung nicht mit der vorherrschenden Natur gemacht.
