Finally, we have food again!
05:17 Lina coughed more than usual.
05:18 Nana measured her temperature.
“Why do I have to wake up so early if we are under quarantine?...“ poor Karolina complained.
However immediately she realized that it was not Lina's normal cough. Did coronavirus enter our house?
10:07 Giuseppe started to play the piano.
We still need toilet papers. We are trying now to survive with all what we have. Our fridge is almost empty; one onion, two carrots and three sips of white wine. Our shelves are almost empty as well; one spoon of salt and empty package of rice.
Then we got a message on Whatsapp asking us to write a shopping list.
Eduardo was walking in the streets, admiring the beauty of early spring of Viterbo. He was enjoying the refreshing morning breeze, when he got a message from our coordinator.
“Eduardo, you are needed now!”
Suddenly he found himself standing with a trolley in the supermarket.
“Three kilos of potatoes, five oranges, one jar of chocolate cream and don't forget the two packs of toilet papers!” heard from our coordinator.
Although he was completely lost in a new shop, surrounded by strangers, he was running all over the store, trying his best to succeed in his first task.
“Green or red apples?” he asked with confusion.
“Just take them all.”
With all those apples, potatoes and most importantly the toilet papers, they refilled our miserable house with joy.
18:42 Giuseppe started to play the piano.
All the joy that we had when we first saw food, didn't make Nana forget measuring her temperature at all. “For God's sake, Nana! you will not get any higher temperature each ten minutes.” said Lina.
“Look who's talking! the girl of the false alarm, that made us all terrified the whole day.”
