From July, 16 till July, 20th in Rheine the ethnocultural language youth camp "I Wish to be" took place. The project was implemented by Modellierton e.v and the administration of the city of Rheine.
Ethnocultural regional youth camp gathered 30 active children from the city of Rheine.
Within the framework of the story line, all participants in the camp are professional detectives who worked on disclosing the top-secret case "Die Akte No. 17/63". The essence of the matter was that during the reign of Catherine II, the Empress was stolen. It was an important attribute, without which the empress can not sign important state documents, including the Decree (Manifesto). If the Manifesto is not signed, the Germans will not start resettling on the territory of the Russian Empire, the course of history will be broken, which will entail irreparable consequences. The seal was moved to the future (in 2018), and according to reliable information of the secret services, is hidden in the camp territory.
The task of detectives was to actively participate in the life of the camp, attend meetings of the club of German lovers, interest clubs and ethno-cultural clubs, in order to search for clues to solve the location of the press. Further through the temporary portal it was necessary to return it to the empress, so as not to disrupt the course of history.
Within two weeks the detectives underwent intellectual and sports tests to confirm their competencies and obtain a license to work on this case. During the shift, they investigated small cases that led them to unravel the disappearance of Catherine II's seal.
The participants of the camp studied the German language every day, learning and acquiring new knowledge. In clubs of interest, the children learned a lot about the history of Russian Germans, learned how to make different decorations by their own hands, did volunteer work, learned the elements of Russian dances and modern choreography, and also learned how to edit video clips. At evening events, the guys underwent different tests for agility, intellect, strength, showing their knowledge and skills in different fields, showing their talents and abilities.
Thanks to the diligence and coordinated work of the detective agencies Im Schatten, Utkatiw, Oranges Nest, Geheimbund and DGT, the last day of the season managed to find a precious seal and return it to Catherine II. As a result, the Empress signed the Manifesto and invited everyone to the final ball.
The youth season has become a launching pad for identifying active youth, a "smithy" of cadres for the public youth movement RN, a place where ideas, projects are born and new youth movements and initiative groups are being created.
Every day in the camp is a storm of emotions, bright colors, and, of course, a joyful and friendly atmosphere. All participants left home with the hope of soon returning to the camp and plunge into the world of mysteries, secrets and time travel.
